Monroe Library, 1st Floor
This exhibit honors the individuals and communities who challenged injustice and forged lasting paths toward equity and social change. In addition to this opening, Monroe Library’s Special Collections and Archives has created a supplemental exhibit, Leading Toward Justice: Loyola, New Orleans, and the Struggle for Civil Rights, which highlights the university’s local connections to the broader civil rights movement.
Guests are invited to explore both exhibits and reflect on the legacies that continue to shape our pursuit of justice today. A reception will follow the opening.
We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of reflection, learning, and community.
