Bio

William Ransom is the Systems Librarian at the Monroe Library. In his role as Monroe Library's systems administrator, he is responsible for maintaining Symphony, the integrated library system, which includes elements such as the online catalog and WorkFlows, the staff interface. He works closely with the Louisiana Library Network (LOUIS), the state consortium of college and university libraries, where he is a member of both the system administrator and electronic resources administrator groups. He has also delivered several demonstrations and presentations to LOUIS members. William leads the Library Web Team.
