Monroe Library Offers 24/7 Library Chat
Ask-a-Librarian for Research Help No Matter How Late
JavaScript disabled or chat unavailable.
You'll encounter Loyola librarians in a variety of ways throughout your academic career. We teach one-off information literacy sessions in courses throughout your curriculum, embed in Canvas to provide library support in targeted classes, and meet with students for one-on-one research consultations. When we're otherwise engaged, if you don't have time to make an appointment with your librarian liaison, you can always ask the Library Chat.
Through Library Chat you can contact a research librarian 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 361 days a year (the service is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and July 4). You can access Library Chat from the main navigation bar on the library website, from the right column within library Research Guides, on the right side bar of Monroe Library QuickSearch, and on the right side bar of EBSCO databases like Academic Search Complete, CINAHL Complete, and PsycINFO.
Chat librarians can help you locate books and articles, construct a research question or search strategy on a specific topic, or assist you in accessing electronic resources, including library databases.
