The Monroe Library has many valuable services and collections available to the Loyola community. The library has over 377,000 books and bound periodical volumes, more than 20,000 music scores and recordings, and provides access to approximately 36,000 full-text journals and 27,000 e-books.

The library has an extensive music collection that includes materials to support traditional music curricula as well as multi-disciplinary programs in Music Therapy, Music Education, and Music Industry Studies.

Special Collections & Archives preserves materials related to the history of Louisiana, the South, the Society of Jesus, and the history of Loyola University New Orleans.
