There are many different types of rooms available for use at the Monroe Library by students, faculty, and staff.

- Collins C. Diboll Art Gallery
Multimedia classrooms feature tiered seating for 40 to 50 people, as well as a variety of presentation equipment and software.
Seminar rooms feature seating for 15 to 24 people, with a variety of presentation equipment.
The Living Room is a comfortable, relaxed setting that can be used for a variety of purposes, including meetings, group study, and practicing group presentations.
The Library Instruction Classroom is a premier instructional space designed for collaborative learning, featuring 30 desktop computers and cutting edge presentation equipment.
The Faculty Innovation Lad is available for faculty and staff who are working on the production or enhancement of instructional materials, or faculty and staff looking to develop their technology skills.
The Center for Faculty Innovation features seating for 8 to 10 people, and is reserved for faculty and staff to hold meetings and video/web conferences.
Faculty Research Rooms are available for use by full-time Loyola faculty who are engaged in research projects and special class preparation for one semester.
Group study rooms are private rooms located on the second and third floors. Rooms seat anywhere from two to six people and the loan period is four hours. Group study rooms are available to be checked out at the Learning Commons desk on a first come, first serve basis to currently enrolled students.
The Collins C. Diboll Art Gallery and Visual Arts Center is located on the 4th floor of the Monroe Library. The Gallery occupies the entire upper floor of the library and is free and open to the public Monday through Saturday.

- University Classrooms
Through the Office of Co-Curricular Programs, you can reserve the following spaces: Danna Student Center Meeting Rooms, Residential Quad, Peace Quad, Banner Space (Danna Student Center), Table space (Danna Student Center), and Classrooms.
Please note that library rooms are available only for Loyola University New Orleans faculty, staff, and students for special classes and meetings. Classrooms for regularly scheduled classes are reserved through the Office of Student Records.
