Susan is available to answer any questions you have regarding web conferencing or Adobe Connect.

Media Services

Media Services provides equipment and assistance for anyone who wants to communicate online with Skype, Google Hangouts, etc. for their classroom or meeting.

We also provide Adobe Connect for online conferencing and recording. Adobe Connect enables live communication with up to 100 people simultaneously over the Web. You can communicate via voice, video, and chat, do polling, write on a whiteboard, and share documents or anything that's on your computer screen. You can also record the session for immediate access and viewing.

Many professors and professional staff members from throughout the university have used Connect for live, online class sessions, guest lectures, online office hours, interviews, teaching special seminars and events, training, and conferences. In addition, many instructors have incorporated Connect in online courses, by either recording a lecture or tutorial for their students, or by having synchronous classes or meetings.

For videoconferencing, we have a high-end system that can accommodate small groups.  This system requires a similar system to be used on both ends. It is necessary to test the connection prior to the date of the event.

Videoconferencing requires setup time. Please contact us as soon as you can prior to your videoconferencing event.
