Policy on Student Groups' Use
The J. Edgar & Louise S. Monroe Library is a center for enhancing skills that are necessary for success in college and in life-long learning. The library's facilities, collections, and services are designed to foster teaching and learning at Loyola.
Student groups’ presidents can reserve library meeting rooms or classrooms for their groups to use for guest lectures, presentations, large group study sessions, or business meetings. Activities that involve recruitment, new member activities, or ceremonies of any kind are not permitted in the Monroe Library.
Students are responsible for any damage to library furnishings or equipment. The library reserves the right to monitor rooms during events.
To reserve a library classroom or meeting room, fill out our online reservation form. Media Services can also help you coordinate equipment for these rooms. If you have questions, contact Media Services at 504-864-7120 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Reservation requests should be made at least two (2) business days prior to the event.
