Our two multimedia classrooms are in the library's mezzanine: Multimedia Classroom 1 (ML 134 - 50 seats) and Multimedia Classroom 2 (ML 133 - 42 seats). Both rooms have a tiered-seating arrangement to encourage discussion. Each seat has access to electric power and an ethernet port (in addition to wireless Internet access).
The instructor's console contains a variety of presentation equipment, where the instructor can control equipment, room lights, and drapes via a touch-sensitive panel. Equipment includes a high resolution projector, desktop computer, laptop inputs (VGA, audio, and HDMI), document camera, DVD player, VHS player, and podium microphone.
Instructions are available in the classroom and downloadable here: Multimedia Classroom 1, Multimedia Classroom 2. While this system is easy to learn and use, we recommend that all faculty and guest presenters be oriented to the equipment prior to using these classrooms. Please contact Media Services to set up a brief training session.
