Michael is available to answer any questions you have regarding instruction technology in the classrooms.
Standard Classrooms have a projector or large-screen TV, laptop inputs, and a VCR/DVD player in a lockbox. To access the VCR/DVD, you must check out a key from the Learning Commons desk at the Monroe Library.
There are 19 Standard Classrooms, with 3 different equipment configurations. Instructions are in the classrooms and are available for download below.
The following 9 classrooms have data/video projectors mounted on the ceiling and wall-mounted control systems. These systems allow you to switch between the laptop and the VCR/DVD player, control volume, and turn the image off:
- BOBET: 214
- MERCY: 105, 201, 305
- MONROE: 156, 471, 527, 532, 533
- INSTRUCTIONS FOR THESE STANDARD CLASSROOMS
The following 4 classrooms have data/video projectors on the ceiling and use the projector’s remote control to switch between the laptop and the VCR/DVD player:
- MONROE: 205
- COMMUNICATIONS/MUSIC: 301, 302, 305
The following classroom has a data/video projector mounted on a cart and uses the projector’s remote control:
- BUDDIG: 1211
The following 6 classrooms have plasma televisions. You switch between the laptop and the VCR/DVD player using buttons on the TV, or the TV’s remote control:
- BOBET: 217
- MONROE: 222, 223, 535
- COMMUNICATIONS/MUSIC: 303, 304
