With Mardi Gras holidays behind us, it seems like all many students can think about is Spring Break. But to be able to reach that point, we first have to face the challenges that always sneak up on us mid-semester….midterms.
Here at Loyola, midterm exams are in full swing. We have all heard the usual tips: get plenty of sleep, stay on top of assignments, eat healthy, manage your time wisely, etc. Although this advice helps, each student has his or her own way of preparing. As always, if you need a place to study, keep in mind the library is operating at regular hours.
Despite personal rituals, we have all had times where we just feel overwhelmed. With the recent publication of the The Maroon online, I discovered an article from March 1989. I can say that many students I know, including myself, have felt like Myron Slothrop at one time or another. That being said, the best thing to do is keep your head up, do your best, and just remember, Spring Break is a month away!
