Basketball Season is Coming to an End…
Loyola’s basketball history dates back to 1945, when the men’s team was crowned NAIA National Champions. Although the 2013 Wolf Pack season is coming to an end, both the men and women’s teams have been finishing strong. On February 16th, both teams defeated Faulkner in the last home games of the season. The results proved to be the perfect way to celebrate graduating seniors, with the men defeating Faulkner 61-43 and the women 64-53.
Loyola’s intramural basketball is also in full swing, with the co-recreational, men, and women’s teams in season until the end of March. Although registration is closed for intramural basketball, intramural dodgeball and men’s and women’s soccer are currently open for registration. Bocce ball, waterpolo, and weightlifting teams are upcoming registration in the near future. For more information, visit the Loyola Intramurals Web Page.
