Friend of the Month

Meet Chantel Jackson, our Library Friend of the Month!

Chantel was born in Illinois but has lived in Baton Rouge prior to
enrolling at Loyola. She’s a sophomore majoring in English Writing with
a minor in Sociology.

She enjoys surfing the internet and watching movies and is also a student
employee you might find behind the desk at Monroe Library.

She uses the library to check out DVD’s as well as the study rooms and
is a big fan of using the lockers to keep her stuff secure. “The library
is almost like a second home to me.”

To further student success, Chantel would like to see more books on
reserve from professors and more study rooms available.
