All Saints’ Day: 168 Years Ago

Across New Orleans today many will celebrate All Saints’ Day by visting the graves of loved ones. New Orleanians have marked this day for centuries, as The Weekly Picayune from November 1, 1844, held in Special Collections and Archives, attests.
